Most networking happens in a conference room with fluorescent lights and bad coffee. This fall, we're trying something different.
On Friday, October 9th, The Connection Collective is hosting a networking cruise on Lake Minnetonka. Members are bringing their best clients and prospects aboard for an afternoon that has nothing to do with sitting through another PowerPoint.
Why a boat
Referrals happen because people trust each other, and trust builds faster somewhere that isn't a name-tag mixer. Three hours on the water, good food, good company, no rush. It's the kind of afternoon people remember, which means it's the kind of afternoon that actually gets talked about afterward.
How it's funded
We're not charging attendees to come aboard. Instead, local businesses are stepping up as sponsors to cover the cost of the boat, which means every member gets to bring guests without worrying about a ticket price. In exchange, sponsors get their name in front of a room of Twin Cities business owners in a setting a lot more memorable than a banner at a golf outing.
Who it's for
Connection Collective members are bringing prospects and clients who'd genuinely benefit from being in that room: people they already have relationships with, just in a better setting than a coffee meeting.
Want your name on the boat
We've got a handful of sponsor spots left, from a presenting sponsorship down to a community-level spot that any local business can grab. If you want your name in front of the room, or you just want to see what an afternoon of Twin Cities networking looks like when it's not in a conference room, check out the sponsorship page for the full details.
